Instagram

Instagram is a popular photo-sharing app for smartphones. Compared with other social networks, Instagram is simple—it’s focused on sharing photos and videos with your friends.

Pinterest

Pinterest is a social network that allows users to visually share, and discover new interests by posting (known as ‘pinning’) images or videos to their own or others’ boards (i.e. a collection of ‘pins,’ usually with a common theme) and browsing what other users have pinned.

Skype

Skype is for connecting with the people that matter most in your life and work. It’s built for both one-on-one and group conversations and works wherever you are – via mobile, PC, Xbox and Alexa. Skype messaging and HD voice and video calling will help you share experiences and get things done with others. With Skype, you can have meetings and create wonderful things with your workgroup, share a story or celebrate a birthday with friends and family, and learn a new skill or hobby with a teacher.

Tumblr

Tumblr is a blogging platform that makes it easy for users to post images, GIFs, videos, music, text, links, and more. The dashboard shows all the posts of the blogs a user follows. Users can post from their dashboard. A post can be commented on, liked, or relogged.

YouTube

YouTube is a website designed for sharing video. Millions of users around the world have created accounts on the site that allow them to upload videos that anyone can watch. Every minute of every day, more than 35 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube. Video files can be exceptionally large and are often too big to send to someone else by email.

Twitter

Twitter is an online news and social networking site where people communicate in short messages called tweets. Tweeting is posting short messages for anyone who follows you on Twitter, with the hope that your words are useful and interesting to someone in your audience. Another description of Twitter and tweeting might be microblogging.

Reddit

Reddit is home to thousands of communities, endless conversation, and authentic human connection. Whether you’re into breaking news, sports, TV fan theories, or a never-ending stream of the internet’s cutest animals, there’s a community on Reddit for you. Every day, millions of people around the world post, vote, and comment in communities organized around their interests.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a social network specifically designed for career and business professionals to connect. As of 2020, over 722 million professionals use LinkedIn to cultivate their careers and businesses. Unlike other social networks in which you might become “friends” with anyone and everyone, LinkedIn is about building strategic relationships.

MeWe

MeWe is a social media site known as a Facebook alternative. MeWe is ad-free. MeWe is a website that guarantees your data is secure. Although the site has many similarities to Facebook, MeWe has been called the “anti-Facebook” due to its strict rules about protecting users’ privacy that Facebook hasn’t had.

Blogger.com

Blogger is a free blog hosting service that lets you create a blog without paying anything at all. You also get a free Blogspot subdomain. Your blog’s address will look something like this: www.yourname.blogspot.com. However, you can also use a custom domain name with your blog.
